$2.5 million in state budget to rebuild job training facility at San Bernardino Valley College

Senator Connie M. Leyva and Assemblymember Eloise Gomez Reyes lead successful effort to secure state funding

New state funding will help San Bernardino Valley College reconstruct a 55-year-old job training center where students learn automotive, aeronautical, welding, electrical, and air conditioning and heating technologies. (Photo by San Bernardino Valley College).
Initially constructed in 1964, the Applied Technology Building is one of the oldest buildings at SBVC. With structural elements past their useful life expectancy, the building is no longer fit for anticipated student growth.
